Grab a pillow! Let’s talk…

As Q3 has come and gone, it’s time to highlight some of the new and exciting updates from the Cloudbeds Product Team. With every quarter, Cloudbeds continues to innovate our solutions to fit our customers’ needs better, and this quarter was no exception!

Here are our most recent updates

SCA Compliant with 3D Secure for Stripe Direct

We now fully support Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) for processing payments received via the Cloudbeds booking engine, as well as all other reservation sources, using our new folio and checkout enhancements that support 3D Secure 2.0.

By enhancing our direct integration with Stripe, properties are now able to accept guest payments in full compliance with the new PSD2 regulation in Europe. With the introduction of this new standard, guest credit card security is increased, credit card fraud minimized, and more transactions are being successfully processed. Read more about SCA and how Cloudbeds has you covered here.

Presenting PIE’s new and improved Performance Graph

We’ve revamped the former “revenue graph” on the Overview page in PIE to give users a complete view of their property’s performance in the new “Performance Graph.” A property’s three main KPIs (OCC, ADR, RevPar) are reflected within the graph, allowing users to have a snapshot of the property’s productivity at a glance and measure the previous year’s performance. New “Easy Rate Updates” functionality in Availability Matrix

Rate Updates just got a whole lot easier. We now offer a faster and more convenient way to adjust rates by pre-setting your base accommodation and price differentials, or by using the new “increase/decrease” options in the “Long-term Interval” section. Update your rates in a snap! Find out how here

Reports have a new filter: Transaction Type

Do you only want to see cash added or removed from a cash box? Easy!

Want to see only the credit card payments made in Reservations and House Accounts? No Problem!

With the new Transaction Types filter, you can better pinpoint your money flow and movement. Easily apply this filter to the Payment Ledger, The Transaction Report, and The Adjustment Report. Filter your transaction types in just a few clicks, find out how here.

Cancellation Fees are now included for Channel Bookings

When a booking made through a channel is canceled, you will now be able to see the value of the cancelation fee that is still owed to your property. This information is visible on the reservation itself, as well as within the cancellation email.

Something to look forward to: In an upcoming update, the cancellation fees will also be added to invoices and Excel exports.

Legal Company Name Now a Display Option on Invoices

A property name isn’t necessarily the same as the company’s legal name, and this can affect official documents, such as invoices, where properties are obligated to state their legal name.

We’ve added the option to display your legal company name on invoices on the invoice setup page in Cloudbeds.

Learn how to enable this setting.

Support for Booking.com Child Policy

In compliance with EU consumer law, all prices on Booking.com need to reflect the total amount that guests will pay for their stay. As part of this requirement, any extra child fees will be included in the Total Price, and the number of child occupants will be added to the Total Guest Count.
