Gallery Design is a modern stylization for the Cloudbeds Booking Engine. This first round of updates has been driven by our customer’s needs, based on market research and several customer interviews. The updated booking engine creates a beautiful online shopping experience that connects travelers with hoteliers and hosts and drives direct bookings. Gallery Design combines functional and aesthetic improvements that make Cloudbeds both easier to use and properties more attractive to travelers.

In this post, we’ll cover how the new booking engine features work and how you can use them to drive more direct bookings on your website.
With Gallery View, we’ve taken all accommodation photos and enlarged them to improve how travelers view and interact with a property’s website. Now travelers can get a better view of your property and the room they’re booking.
We’ve also “rolled up” your previously listed rates and lined them up with the room type for an easy side-by-side comparison that lets travelers check rate plans at a glance. With rolled-up rates, you can now showcase anything from standard rates to rates with breakfast and non-refundable discount rates.

Every property is unique and your Booking Engine should fit seamlessly into the branding of your website. That’s why we’ve also included an easy color picker that lets you customize the colors of the Cloudbeds Booking Engine to fit your branding needs.
With the color picker, it’s much easier to select colors for elements like your header, navigation arrows, background, search button, and general buttons. Insert your color code right into the picker or choose from a color swatch to find your ideal color palette.
When you select a color, you’ll immediately see a preview on the same screen to make sure the choice you made is just right.
The improvements to the Cloudbeds Booking Engine have only just begun! We’ll be rolling out a series of updates to enhance the Booking Engine, making it more attractive, powerful, and easy to customize.
