Cloudbeds Creates OTA-in-a-Box for Hotels

Cloudbeds has published mygroup–the world’s very first online travel agency-in-a-box. Hotel groups and associations can now create their own OTA, allowing guests to browse for rooms from all of the associated properties in the group.

Mygroup is powered by mybookings, Cloudbeds’ commission-free booking engine. Each property in the group or association can customize property photos, rates, and amenities that appear on mygroup. Mygroup comes with a powerful API allowing for complete customization. Groups and associations can make mygroup exactly match the branding of their existing websites.

Mygroup comes with Cloudbeds’ cloud-based property management system, myfrontdesk, for each property in the association. Myfrontdesk helps property managers run the day-to-day activities of their hotels. Because it is in the cloud, managers can access myfrontdesk from anywhere in the world, with no per-computer licensing fees.

Mygroup also includes Cloudbeds’ channel manager myallocator. Myallocator saves hoteliers time and money by eliminating the need for technical know-how to get listed on OTAs. It helps hoteliers list their rooms on as many OTAs as they wish with the push of a button. Plus, it exposes their rooms to new marketplaces hoteliers might not have known existed.

Myallocator also helps prevent overbookings. It automatically updates OTAs, mygroup, and each property’s Internet booking engine with real-time availability, ensuring that no guests book the same room at the same property at the same time.
