Cloudbeds, the leading provider of hospitality management software for independent properties (hotels, hostels, inns, bed and breakfasts, campgrounds, and vacation rentals), announced the addition of Ira Vouk, a recognized thought leader in revenue management, to lead Cloudbeds’ pricing intelligence product.
Ira will drive the strategy for Cloudbeds’ newest product, PIE – a powerful and easy-to-use pricing intelligence engine built for independent owners and managers. With over a decade of revenue management practice, Ira brings a wealth of experience to Cloudbeds. Ira was recognized as a Top 5 Revenue Manager in 2013 by HSMAI and was most recently the Director of Revenue Management at Gaslamp Hotel Management. She co-founded @iRates and is set to release her book “Revenue Management made easy” next month.
“We are thrilled to have Ira join the Cloudbeds family. She is bringing her incredible knowledge of revenue management to our team,” said Adam Harris, CEO of Cloudbeds. “At Cloudbeds, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and helping hospitality operators be more successful. Ira will help us continually enhance our pricing intelligence engine, a tool that will help our customers grow their revenue and bottom line.”
“I am delighted to join Cloudbeds during this period of rapid growth,” said Ira. “I believe the company is perfectly poised to bring a much-needed revenue management solution to smaller independent operators. We will also be helping our customers understand the main concepts of dynamic pricing and cultivate their revenue management culture by providing educational content. Our goal is to assist them in becoming the leaders in their industry and achieve better financial results.”
