Many of our customers are experiencing high season at their properties right now – either hosting guests on summer vacation or winter break. The Cloudbeds team is also at the peak of our productivity. Here’s a summary of what’s been keeping us busy in August.
Recent Product Releases & System Updates
Express Channel Account Creation Now Available
Cloudbeds now supports creating a new channel account for AdsHotel and Dorms.com without ever having to leave our application. Users that don’t yet have an account on either channel can visit AdsHotel and Dorms.com in the channel list and, with two clicks, create a new property account using the property and room information (including images) that is currently in our system.
Dorms.com is a channel that focuses on hostel properties while AdsHotel is a Metasearch Management Platform for Hotel Ad Campaigns, allowing users to connect their property directly to metasearch engine channels such as Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, Tripadvisor, Kayak and more.

Ctrip Now Supports More Inventory Restriction Options
Ctrip recently released support for setting new inventory and availability restrictions, and Cloudbeds has you covered. You can now set inventory as Closed to Arrival and Closed to Departure as well as setting Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay options.
Updating Ingoibibo Pricing Handling and Commission
Users connected to Ingoibibo, which includes connections to Goibibo, Makemytrip, HotelTravel, and Easytobook, will now see the correct Ingoibibo commission broken out of the Sub Total for the reservation. The Sub Total has also been optimized to dynamically include or exclude GST-type taxes, depending on whether or not your property has applied an exclusive GST-type tax (CGST, IGST, TGST, SGST, GST) to Ingoibibo under third party sources.
Breakfast inclusive/exclusive option for channel distribution
For several distribution channels – CTrip, HRS, Reconline, TripAdvisor, and Tiket.com – it’s necessary to send rates with breakfast specified as inclusive or exclusive. You can now set this information on the General System Settings page of our application..
Booking.com Update – Guest Name instead of Booker Name
Previously, reservations made on Booking.com on behalf of a guest would show the name of the person or travel agent making the reservation, not the name of the actual guest. With this latest update, the true guest name will be shown to avoid any confusion at the time of check-in.
New Channels and Integrations
