Easily add a convenience fee to transactions and adjust it as needed to align with your goals. This lets you cover some of the processing fees while continuing to offer the convenience of card payments.

Smarter Payment Timing for Booking.com Reservations

We’ve enhanced the Payment Options page to give you more control when processing Virtual Credit Cards from Booking.com.
You can now schedule payment collection for one day after the guest’s arrival date — ideal for handling bookings where virtual cards are only activated after check-in.

Why this matters:

  • Reduces payment failures due to premature processing
  • Keeps you aligned with Booking.com’s latest virtual card activation rules
  • Helps you get paid faster, with less manual follow-up

To enable this, just head to Settings > Payments > Payment Options and choose the new “Postpone until after the arrival date” setting under your reservation source preferences.
