What is the Cloudbeds RaIN program?
As a Cloudbeds user, you are a key component to driving our product development, experience, and ultimately – our mutual success.
When you join the RaIN program, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in research, share your unique input with our team, and be the first to provide
feedback on our future innovations.
How does it work?
To join, we’ll ask you to fill out a short form that will help us match you with the right research studies.
You’ll be contacted by our team via email when we find a study that’s a good fit for you.
From there, you can consider the details of the research study, and decide whether you’d like to participate.
You can always decide not to participate in a study, or to unsubscribe from the program entirely.

What kinds of research studies can I participate in?
Interviews and moderated studies
You’ll speak to a member of the research team via video call. We may ask you to discuss your needs or responsibilities,
or screen-share and walk through how you use the Cloudbeds product.
Surveys
We’ll send you an email with a link to a survey for you to fill out. You can respond to the survey questions at your convenience.
Unmoderated research studies
You won’t speak directly to a member of our team, but you may be asked to record your screen and/or yourself speaking
as you use the product or answer questions.
Other types of research
We do other types of research as well. Details of these studies will be provided when we reach out to see if you’re interested in participating.

Who can join the program?
The Cloudbeds RaIN program is open to current users of Cloudbeds’ products. This means you have an account with Cloudbeds.
If you are not a current Cloudbeds user, please keep an eye out, as we may have opportunities for you in the future.
Do I need to be in a certain location?
No. Most of our studies are done remotely using video-conferencing tools, so you can participate from any location.
Can I choose which study I participate in?
Yes! When our team matches you with a study, we will email you with the details of that study, including the type of study, length of the study,
what we’ll ask of you during the study, and details on how to participate. You’re free to choose whether to participate or not for any particular study.
How often will I be contacted?
We will not reach out to you with a study opportunity more than once per month.
My information has changed since I signed up. Can I update it?
Yes. Please send an email to uxresearch@cloudbeds.com
I no longer want to participate in the program. Can I opt out?
Yes, you can opt out of the program at any time. To opt out, please reach out directly to uxresearch@cloudbeds.com.
How will my data be used?
The data you provide in the signup form is strictly confidential and will only be used to contact you for our research studies.
It will not be shared or sold to external parties.
