Jet Luxury scales luxury stays without losing the human touch

β€œCloudbeds understands today’s guest better than any other company I’ve ever been associated with in hospitality. And they care about us as a partner. That’s why we’re still here β€” and why we can keep growing without limits.”

Learn more about Jet Luxury Resorts

Worldwide

Jet Luxury Resorts is a 4- and 5-star hotel and resort management company that represents designated rooms within a curated collection of brand-name luxury hotels.

From the Signature Condo Hotel in Las Vegas β€” a 4-star property just off the Strip and directly across from the MGM Grand β€” to the Langosta Beach Club in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, the company prides itself on delivering exceptional luxury stays at the best available rates.

Pencil-and-paper beginnings

Jet Luxury launched in 2008 with nothing but a bold idea, a niche market, and a stack of paper.

Their very first owner presentation brought in 20 new signings overnight, and within just a few years, the company expanded into a multi-market operation built on great service, clear communication, and trust.

But as their portfolio grew, so did the complexity. Jet Luxury needed technology that could match the ambition of a company managing hotels virtually β€” across borders and without ever being on property.

A partner who actually listens

Jet Luxury cycled through a number of early systems β€” all of which kept limiting growth. Server outages could shut them down for days, rigid workflows couldn’t handle their owner-based model, and expansion into new markets required more manual work than their small team could sustain.

After evaluating multiple systems, Cloudbeds stood out as the winner. It was fully web-based, global, and customizable enough to flex around Jet Luxury’s unusual business model.

β€œWhat was most important,” Richard says, β€œwas whether we could grow with a company that was going to grow in the right manner. Cloudbeds stood out above the rest.”

Another big motivating factor for Cloudbeds was what Richard calls the β€œcare factor”: a willingness to listen, customize, and solve problems.

A new growth engine

Cloudbeds estimated a 30–60 day onboarding timeline; Jet Luxury was live in 16.
β€œIf you ask us for information, you have it within the day,” Richard jokes. β€œBut the truth is, Cloudbeds’ training and documentation made mastering the system quick.”

The result is a repeatable framework Jet Luxury uses across every market: β€œWhat I do here in Las Vegas, I also do in Costa Rica. What I do in Costa Rica, I also do in Hawaii. What I do in Hawaii, I also do in New York.”

Cloudbeds’ Channel Manager stands out, pushing real-time inventory and rates to OTAs with precision. β€œCloudbeds’ Channel Manager is probably one of the strongest components of Cloudbeds. We control our inventory. OTAs don’t.” explains Richard. He continues, β€œWhat we put in Cloudbeds is what goes to the OTAs. It’s seamless.”

Cloudbeds Websites and the Booking Engine eliminated third-party layers, ensuring direct bookings drop directly into the PMS. And Cloudbeds Payments has solved one of Jet Luxury’s biggest headaches: chargebacks. β€œThey handle disputes. We’ve reduced credit card losses over 70 percent,” Richard says. β€œThat’s something most people don’t even think about.”

Another area that Cloudbeds has helped Jet Luxury with is guest communications β€” to, as Richard puts it, β€˜overcommunicate’ β€” pre-arrival instructions, in-stay support, and post-stay follow-ups. β€œI’d rather someone say we overcommunicate than feel like we’re hiding behind technology,” he explains.

A real partnership

When it comes to scaling, Cloudbeds has proven to be exactly what Jet Luxury needs. β€œIf we added 100 more units over the next year or two, we wouldn’t have to increase our employees. The biggest reason for that is Cloudbeds.” says Richard.

Together with Cloudbeds, Jet Luxury is proof that a small, sharp team can run a multi-market hospitality business without losing an ounce of service, efficiency, or soul.

What Cloudbeds has brought to us over the last five years is the ability to grow with them β€” their innovation, their communication, and the way they actually ask what our needs are. We’ve been able to customize so much, unlike other PMS or CRM companies that just want your business and leave you stuck inside their cookie-cutter systems. Cloudbeds is anything but that. It is not cookie-cutter.
