Pencil-and-paper beginnings
Jet Luxury launched in 2008 with nothing but a bold idea, a niche market, and a stack of paper.
Their very first owner presentation brought in 20 new signings overnight, and within just a few years, the company expanded into a multi-market operation built on great service, clear communication, and trust.
But as their portfolio grew, so did the complexity. Jet Luxury needed technology that could match the ambition of a company managing hotels virtually β across borders and without ever being on property.

Jet Luxury cycled through a number of early systems β all of which kept limiting growth. Server outages could shut them down for days, rigid workflows couldnβt handle their owner-based model, and expansion into new markets required more manual work than their small team could sustain.

And Cloudbeds Payments has solved one of Jet Luxuryβs biggest headaches: chargebacks. βThey handle disputes. Weβve reduced credit card losses over 70 percent,β Richard says. βThatβs something most people donβt even think about.β
Another area that Cloudbeds has helped Jet Luxury with is guest communications β to, as Richard puts it, βovercommunicateβ β pre-arrival instructions, in-stay support, and post-stay follow-ups. βIβd rather someone say we overcommunicate than feel like weβre hiding behind technology,β he explains.
